The making of the ‘stones’ was funded by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, from a submitted concept, for the DRIFT Festival.

FLOW was a group show, a CLIMARTE Exhibiton 31 May - 1 July 2023.
In the context of the Climate Emergency, and timed with the end of the financial year, FLOW was an exhibition exploring what a better future looks like.
As a medium of exchange, the word currency is derived from the word current, the origin of which was curraunt meaning flowing (c. 1300). Like thriving ecosystems, healthy economies depend on healthy flows of life sustaining resources.
Examining the flow between money, politics, information and power, artwork in FLOW posed critical questions about financial flows, reminds us of the vital interconnections and interdependencies between all life, and showed the profound possibilities of economic systems based on respect and reciprocity.

The LISTENING STONES in Gallery at City Library, 253 Flinders Lane, MelbourneGallery at City Library, 253 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, 14 February – 2 March 2024, a CLIMARTE group show.
In the context of the Climate Emergency, Creative Constellations: Atlas of Radical Hope makes visible locally focused creative work that intersects climate, culture and community in ways that boldly envision a fair, socially and ecologically sustainable future based on respect and reciprocity.
This dynamic project presents work that reflects on the power of art to inform, engage and mobilise people to effectively address the extractive ‘business as usual’ culture at the heart of the Climate Emergency, biodiversity and inequity crises.
Commencing in Victoria, this is a place-based project aiming to elevate the voices of artists whose work focuses on the Climate Emergency and energy transition, as well as exceptional, community-led sustainability initiatives.

9th November 2024, in ACROSS THE WATERS, the Stones were part of a Deep Listening Circle, at Berninneit, Cowes, Victoria, weaving together a range of Eco Arts experiences, including visual art, music, dance, film, collaborative poetry and stories of conservation and environmental action. The Bass Coast Shire funded more ‘stones’ to be made from people on the Bass Coast side of Westernport who also advocated for the bay in the AGL development fight.
The people and organisations from around Western Port (Warn Marin) part of the gathering included:
Traditional Boonwurrung Custodian Aunty Sonia Weston and her niece Nyoka Hume, Uncle Ron Murray, Greg Johnson, Jo Lane, Carmel Wallace, Kate Gorringe-Smith, Susan Hall, Camille Monet and her children, Mal Webb, Kylie Morrigan, Alice Hurst and the Cowes Primary School Choir, Natalie Petersen from Petersen’s Bookstore in Hastings, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Crib Point, Daryl Pellizzer, Bass Coast Adult Learning, Save Western Port Woodlands, Ed Thexton, South Gippsland Conservation Society, Prof Dick Wettenhall, Mel Barker, Western Port Biosphere Foundation, Jane Carnegie, Save Westernport, Joey Thompson, Rising Tide and friends.
